We continued our day, following the lead of our Real New York tour guide - really, if you're going to New York for the first time, they are a must for teaching you to get around the city - and enjoyed all the classic New York sites. We toured our way through the gritty subways and the steam releasing from the streets, and caught the must see "Friends" building and those iconic water towers.

As you can see, we were tempted into the brief distractions of pizza and cannollis, but I think it would be fair to call these enough of a New York staple that they were practically part of the tour - even that pizza has been featured in the movies!

We did eventually get back on our feet - full and satisfied - because we had the colorful signs and sites of Little Italy and then Chinatown to wander through!

Our last stop was the deep, concrete canyons of the financial distract where we craned our necks up (like the small town folk we were)
